Animal testing is crucial for medical research, and Germany sets very high standards for it. The problem is that bureaucracy can push experiments abroad. If good standards make the process too slow or opaque, they stop having the effect they were meant to have.
TiVA (tiva.digital) addresses this by supporting the animal-research application workflow: structured drafting, databases for people and mouse lines, collaboration, better status handling, and exports into official templates. It is used in production by several research institutions.
AI helps with prefilling, help text, translations, and step-by-step assistance. The goal is not to make the application careless. The goal is to make careful work easier to do inside Germany.
